It’s been right over a year since I got my five little buddies.
Honestly, at first, the reason why I got bats was to represent change. Metaphorically speaking, bats were looked as creatures who change at night to vampires.
However, after the first week, I discovered something totally different.
According to ancient Chinese history
“An image which contains five bats represents the five types of happiness – peace, riches, love of virtue, long life, and happy death.”
Just reading this made me think what I want in life. There is was, all tied up in a nice sentence that correlated with my tattoo. It’s a reminder to stay positive and reach my new goals.
